Ici je m’intéresse à la porosité entre les faits et les récits dans l’expérience de l’altérité, à la mémoire qui se transforme presqu’instantanément, comme elle peut se figer ou encore s’amnésier, créant des vides. Cette pièce est nourrie par ma pratique professionnelle de médiation de conflit qui influence mon rapport au langage et à la parole : ce qui se dit, ce qui ne se dit pas, se fige, se déforme, s’oublie.
Partant d’une conversation que j’ai recueillie entre générations au sein de ma propre famille, j’en ai conversé ce qui m’apparaissait comme la colonne vertébrale du conflit – à savoirs les malentendus, les rapports de force, les dénis de responsabilités… Ces fragments ont ensuite été interprétés par 2 comédiennes, mot pour mot, au plus proche des intonations, du rythme, des balbutiements. Je les ai ensuite spatialisés sur 8 pistes, qui sont diffusées par 8 enceintes. Il en ressort une (re)composition parcellaire qui laisse deviner des rapports de pouvoir intrafamiliaux entre parent et enfant.
Cette installation tend également à questionner les conventions sur ce qui est entendable ou pas, ce qui serait trop intime ou trop personnel pour être exprimé dans la sphère publique dont les institutions culturelles, passant ainsi sous silence des vécus systémiques.

Here, I explore the porous boundary between facts and storytelling in the experience of otherness, and how memory transforms almost instantly—how it can freeze, fade, or become amnesic, creating voids. This piece is deeply informed by my professional practice in conflict mediation, which shapes my relationship to language and speech: what is said, what remains unsaid, what becomes fixed, distorted, or forgotten.
Starting from a conversation I recorded between generations within my own family, I focused on what struck me as the backbone of the conflict—namely misunderstandings, power dynamics, and the denial of responsibility. These fragments were then interpreted by two actresses, word for word, closely echoing the original intonations, rhythm, and hesitations. I then spatialized the recordings across eight audio tracks, each played through a separate speaker. What emerges is a fragmented (re)composition that hints at the intrafamilial power dynamics between parent and child.
This installation also seeks to question conventions around what is considered speakable or not—what is deemed too intimate or personal to be voiced in the public sphere, including within cultural institutions—thereby often silencing systemic lived experiences.
